Meet Hal

Hal’s story is one shared by many misunderstood roosters, a tale as old as time. One of the most common surrender requests FARRM receives involves roosters described as loud, aggressive, or difficult to handle, and Hal was no exception. Raised on a farm surrounded by small children, his bold and rambunctious personality eventually became a safety concern for his previous owners. Thankfully, spirited and rambunctious critters are nothing new at FARRM, and Hal was welcomed with open arms.

These days, Hal spends his time crowing proudly at the top of his lungs, roughhousing with his flock of ladies, and keeping our operator on her toes. He’s fiercely loyal, brave, and completely devoted to protecting his family. All qualities we can’t help but admire, even if it means our operator gets terrorized daily.
