Where do donations go?

Donations are integral to the care and support of FARRM’s residents. These funds go towards the day-to-day operations, such as medication, vet fees, food, bedding/straw, shelter maintenance, and enrichment items.

Make a Donation in Memory of a Loved One

This fund was created in loving memory of our FARRM family members that have crossed the rainbow bridge. Heartbreak is a part of rescue, and we experience it over and over again. All too often, the neglect our residents have suffered prior to coming to FARRM proves too much to overcome. Whether they stay with us for a few hours, days,  weeks, or many years, each animal remains in our hearts and deserves to be recognized and remembered for the impact they had while they were with us.

On occasion we have feral cats that join us as a safer space to be released, but they can disappear, never to be seen again. When this happens, we choose to add them to the Rainbow Bridge as a way to honour them and their time with us.

For Donations on behalf of someone (birthday, graduation, wedding), we will gladly email a "love and kindness" note out on your behalf. After you complete the payment process, you will be redirected to our Thank You page, which includes a form to complete for the Love and Kindness note.

  • Yes, FARRM is a Registered Charity, so all donations of $20 and more receive an official donation receipt for income tax purposes. Note: if you did not donate using Canada Helps, please get in touch with us.
