With over a decade of experience working with farm animals, FARRM has become a safe haven for animals with complicated and severe medical, physical, and emotional needs. Many residents come to us with health and/or medical issues stemming from abuse, neglect, and trauma, while others arrive with birth defects or injuries. Many of our special needs residents arrive with complications from frostbite and in need of intensive medical intervention and long-term solutions for mobility in the form of wheelchairs and prosthetics.
We have established a special needs fund dedicated to providing the unique and sometimes complicated care that many of our special needs animals require. This fund helps cover a range of interventions, from physical therapy to mobility aids, or specialized diets, bedding, or housing requirements.
If you have a soft spot for an “under dog/sheep” consider making our special needs fund the landing spot for your donation.
FARRM is a Registered Charity. All donations over $20 receive an official donation receipt for income tax purposes
FARRM is a registered charity as of June 10, 2025, and all monetary donations over $20 are eligible for a tax receipt for income tax purposes. To make donating easier for everyone, we encourage supporters to give through FARRM’s CanadaHelps page.
This secure Canadian platform lets you choose how and when you receive your tax receipt (after each donation, or as a single annual receipt). Choosing CanadaHelps will help FARRM significantly reduce administrative time and allow for more of our energy to go to where it matters most: our residents.
Please visit the CanadaHelps section on our website for additional information on tax receipt deadlines and FAQs.
If you are making a One-Time Donation on behalf of someone (birthday, graduation, wedding), we will gladly email a "love and kindness" note out on your behalf. After you complete the payment process, you will be redirected to our Thank You page, which includes a form to complete for the Love and Kindness note.
