Meet Donald

FARRM was contacted by a concerned citizen who was helping a neighbor with two newly acquired ducks. The neighbor had rescued these two domestic ducks from a less-than-ideal situation and was desperate to find them a safe place to call home. Unable to keep them in their backyard long-term, they reached out to FARRM and we were more than happy to help!

Since arriving, Donald and Daisy have settled seamlessly into the FARRM family. Originally quite skeptical of people, these two have quickly transformed into social butterflies around the property.

These days, Donald and Daisy can be found splashing through mud puddles, foraging around the barnyard, snoozing alongside the sheep, or bashfully following the humans around. The pair are completely inseparable and rarely leave each other’s side. Watching their true personalities shine now that they are in a safe, comfortable environment is truly an honour.

Donald and Daisy have found exactly what they needed at FARRM: a safe place to be themselves, plenty of room to roam, and each other by their side. They have truly embraced the FARRM lifestyle and they are loving every minute of it!
