About:  Brennan's mama Jade is a feral here at FARRM. When Jade first started showing up, she was very feral and very hard to trap to spay and vaccinate. In spring of 2023, we discovered that Jade had given birth to a litter of kittens in a stack of hay bales. Due to being born in bales of hay as kittens, Brennan, Dale, and their other sibling were very sick when we found them. All 3 had severe upper respiratory issues and poor immune systems. Their other sibling passed away of a respiratory infection a few days after they were found, but Dale and Brennan slowly recovered. 

 

Brennan still struggles with multiple health issues such as frequent upper respiratory infections and constant issues with his nasal tract. Brennan is constantly on various medical interventions, and frequents the vet for nasal and ear cannal flushes. Despite his ongoing health concerns, Brennan is a very happy-go-lucky guy. He is known around FARRM as Boogers Brennan, for his constant sneezing of green gunk all over the walls, into our food, and onto our volunteers! Besides the boogers, he is a total sweetheart.
