About: Laverne and her flock came to FARRM when their owner could no longer care for them and wanted the girls to enjoy a peaceful, well-deserved retirement. Having spent most of their lives as well-loved laying hens, they arrived with gentle spirits and a calm presence.

The middle of three spirited sisters, Laverne perfectly embodies the charm of a middle child. Outspoken, friendly, and full of personality, she’s always at the heart of the flock’s daily adventures. Whether foraging for tasty treats, basking in the sunshine, or joyfully “singing” alongside her flock-mates, Laverne infuses every day with her bright and lively energy.
