Age:  2008

About:  Buck's owners moved to Ontario and left behind all of their animals on the property. The new owners of the property were tasked with the large responsibility of finding all the abandoned animals homes. All of the animals were successfully rehomed, except Buck. Buck refused to go and there wasn't a single soul that could get him into a trailer. Until we were called! We were able to get Buck in and loaded up within 20 minutes and went on our way. Buck has now been a part of our FARRM family for over 10 years!    

                                                              

Buck is not what you would call an "easy keeper". This means with him getting older Buck needs to be fed separately from the other horses multiple times a day. His hay is supplemented with two different horse rations, and additional alfalfa cubes. Despite his age associated woes, Buck is a gentle giant. He is kind but likes to be naughty and give humans nibbles on their shoulders when they are not paying attention to him. His days are spent with his two best buddies Jaxon and Keeley eating apples, finding treasures in our waste pile, and enjoying the best view of the valley on the property.
