About:  Elliott is what we refer to as a Bottle Baby. Elliott ended up in our care through one of our personal contacts who saved Elliott from a working farm where he was to be euthanized as they had no use for him. Dairy calves are generally taken away from their mothers shortly after birth. Elliott did not have any pre-existing health concerns, but he does have arthritis in one of his back legs due to growing so large so rapidly. His pain management includes regular shots to help his arthritis.

he term "Bottle Babies" is used when babies are taken away from their mothers at birth. This can cause a plethora of issues, but the most long lasting effect is the baby's manners. Bottle Babies develop very bad habits because they do not have their mothers to teach them what is appropriate behavior and what is not. Bottle Babies usually get what they want from their humans, face no repercussions, and grow up to be absolute terrors.

Elliott is FARRM's largest, silliest, and sweetest resident. He spends his days forgetting he is a cow and not a puppy, wrestling with his best buddies Boe and Everette, and trying to use the humans as beach balls!

Elliot is very lucky to have ended up at FARRM, and we are so very happy to welcome him.
