About:  Scarlet came to us as a highly feral stray cat and a brand-new mother caring for a litter of kittens. Having been born and raised outdoors in challenging conditions, all of her kittens arrived with eye infections and possible viral illnesses. When Scarlet and her babies were taken in by one of our partner rescues, it quickly became clear that Scarlet was deeply distrustful of people, making it difficult to provide care for both her and her kittens. Fortunately, FARRM has ample experience in caring for critters with trust issues. We were happy to welcome this devoted mama and her little family into our care.

Since arriving, Scarlet and her kittens have made remarkable progress and continue to thrive. Once they are old enough, her kittens will return to our partner rescue to find loving forever homes. Scarlet, however, will remain with us, where she can live comfortably and safely with minimal human interaction while still receiving the care she needs.

Scarlet is spunky, determined, and an exceptional mother. Fiercely protective of her babies, she has shown incredible resilience and devotion throughout her journey. Beneath her tough exterior is a cat with a heart of gold, doing everything she can to keep her family safe. We are honored to welcome this brave girl into our feral family.
