About:  At just three weeks old, a little lamb on a nearby farm suffered a traumatic spinal injury shortly after birth. Her owners had hoped a series of steroid injections might help her walk again, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough. Wanting to spare her from euthanasia due to their limitations in providing future care, they reached out to us, asking if we could give this tiny lamb a safe and loving home. That little lady, now named Dash, has been tearing up our sanctuary ever since.

Dash’s medical future is still uncertain, but one thing is clear: she will be loved, happy, and safe for the rest of her life. For the foreseeable future, she will receive hours of physiotherapy each day and use her little wheelchair to exercise and keep her body strong. We don’t yet know if her back legs will ever fully recover, but we remain hopeful. Time and time again, animals that others have written off prove us all wrong. With patience, dedication, and their incredible will to survive, these tiny lives defy the odds.

In the short time she’s been with us, Dash has embraced her new home with joy. Dash has spent her days exploring the sanctuary, meeting her new family, and showing everyone her courageous, fearless spirit.

Dash will require ongoing, intensive care—not just for her physiotherapy, but for the potential long medical journey ahead. She is bright, determined, and courageous, and she has already shown us that she is a fighter. We are committed to giving her every opportunity to thrive and prove that even the smallest lives can achieve the impossible.
