Arrived at FARRM: 2013
Crossed the Rainbow Bridge: June 2017
Mama was going to be used in a controlled hunt in southern Alberta for “wild turkeys” but she was purchased by a caring citizen and brought here. She was considered a high risk species as most people don’t keep turkeys as pets.
Mama passed away peacefully because of old age. She was one of FARRM's very first rescue turkeys.
Rest in peace Mama, you will be dearly missed.
