About:  Mieko was trapped as a stray and transferred to FARRM through a partner rescue. Mieko was terrified of people and very skittish. FARRM allowed for Mieko to be wild and free away from humans with access to a safe, warm, comfortable space when she wanted.

 

For Mieko's first year at FARRM, she kept a very clear boundary that she did not want anything to do with the humans. 

One evening, our operator left the patio door open to the people house and Mieko wandered inside, hopped up on the dining room table, and demanded to be pet. The rest is history!

 

She still prefers love from a distance, especially to strangers, but to the select few Mieko does feel comfortable around, she is an absolute sweetheart who loves affection. She has a quirky personality and a gentle soul.
